About Us

Joyful Note Studio launched on Feb. 1st, 2020. Sylvia Keller, a local piano teacher and longtime resident of Belfair, was growing frustrated at the lack of musical instruction available in her home town. Homeschooling her four kids involved running around to neighboring counties to find enrichment opportunities for all of them. She envisions a place where the community can support local teachers and eventually have a space not restricted to just music -though that is her passion- but for art, languages, needlework, crafts and more.
